Andrew Broome and Simon Belfield both have a specific interest and expertise in Railway Safety and advised HSE  initially in relation to the Hednesford fatality.

Both have completed the Personal Track Safety course and Andrew has also completed the Controller of Site Safety Course. Presently Andrew and Tom Cleary are advising in relation to the tunnel collapse on the Chiltern line at Gerrards Cross.
